Lena Rose
Temporary Project Assistant
Lena is the newest Temporary Project Assistant on the Democracy and Technology team and works on projects surrounding information integrity, social media monitoring, and digital security. She has extensive experience working at non-profit organizations, including the Institute for International Humanitarian Affairs, Break Through Tech, and the Summer Learning Collaborative, the latter of which she completed an AmeriCorps service program. She also recently interned at the MITRE Corporation, where she supported government agencies in mapping cyber attack patterns and researching Russian and Iranian cybercriminal behavior. Lena recently received her master's in Security Policy Studies from the George Washington University and through the NSF's CyberCorps Scholarship for Service program. Prior to her master's program, she received her bachelor's degree in International Studies from Fordham University with double minors in Arabic and Cybersecurity.
