Weekly Roundup 4/11/16
Happy Monday, readers! Yesterday was National Siblings Day, so we decided to dedicate this Roundup to “siblings” working on democracy development, citizen participation, and accountability within government. NDItech is one of the co-founders of the Tech4Dem network, a monthly happy hour series for individuals working in the technology and democracy space in Washington DC. We wish all of our Tech4Dem siblings a very happy belated Siblings Day!
On Thursday, April 14th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, we will be hosting the next Tech4Dem Happy Hour at Fado Irish Pub in Washington, D.C. This event will be featuring one of NDI’s ICT gurus, Meron Menweyelet. She will be speaking about her experiences around developing a mobile learning game that makes NDI's training and education programs more widely available and accessible to audiences - particularly youth and women who face increased barriers to civic engagement - in a fun and interactive way. She will discuss lessons learned and her future roadmap. We hope to see you there! RSVP: http://bit.ly/1S0gov7
