Nahian Sabriet

Nahian Reza Sabriet is a Temporary Project Assistant (TPA) at the Democracy and Technology team of NDI. His work focuses on Science and Technology Policies, Cybersecurity and Information Security. With over five years of experience, he has contributed as a researcher and consultant to initiatives led by United States Agency for International Development (USAID), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), International Labour Organization (ILO), Konrad Adenauer Stiftung’s Regional Programme in Singapore, and Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung.

He completed his graduate and post-graduate studies in International Relations at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and is currently a graduate student at Syracuse University in New York. Sabriet began his career as a Data Analyst with the Bangladesh Peace Observatory, administered by the Centre for Genocide Studies, University of Dhaka and UNDP, and later served as a Research Officer for nearly three years at the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies, under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh.
