Tristan Paci


Temporary Project Assistant

Tristan Paci is a Project Assistant on the Democracy and Technology team, where he works on emerging technology programs and initiatives around civic technology and inclusion. Before joining NDI, Tristan conducted research on technology and national security issues at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute. He previously interned in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor at the U.S. Department of State, focusing on public diplomacy and digital capacity building projects. Earlier in his career, Tristan worked in political communications, providing counsel on digital campaigns to U.S. political candidates as well as advocacy organizations and technology companies. He recently received his M.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service and holds a B.A. in International Relations from Brown University.
